
Hailing a taxi in Kirkham and Lytham St Annes is now easier thanks to a recent initiative unveiled by Uber.
The international transport firm that lets drivers to effectively operate their own cabs has now declared that its Local Cab product is unveiling in both areas from October 7th.
The product will allow passengers to schedule a journey with a local cab firm through Uber’s application.
After a victorious experiment of a Local Taxi at the start of the year that witnessed launches in 6 towns and capitals around the United Kingdom, Uber is currently continuing the service to other places of the nation.
Any person opening the application of Uber in either Kirkham or Lytham St Annes will be given the Local Cab alternative, which links them with area cab companies Kirkham Macs Taxis.
Individuals who reside and visit the locations had not been previously able to schedule a ride through Uber.
Uber seeks to work with regional operators so as to satisfy the increasing demand for rides and increase the app usage further than 40 United Kingdom cities & towns where it presently operates.
